Like most folks I have been on, what seems like, a never ending quest to lose lbs. I attempted lots of fad diets, ate good (until I couldn’t eat salads any more) and tried so many weight loss “supplements”.
I was looking for the most effective weight loss pill that would magically enable me lose weight. Unfortunately, I can’t even start to recall the number of times I have been disappointed.
There are lots of weight loss pills out there. Some make unsupported claims. Others have celebrity backing. I have learnt the most difficult way that you have to be extremely cautious about what you read, what you buy and what you put in your body.
The most important thing to do is not jump into the first weight loss pill you find but rather do your homeworkand look intothe many options out there. Weight loss pills that have been manufactured in FDA approved labs or have some form or professional clinical backing are usually good signs.
So I decided I needed to do my own research to see what truly works for the average person like me.
What was my Weight Control Pill criteria…..
One of the biggest rulesin my research was it had to be natural. I had a really bad reaction to medications as a kid and I tend to shy away from drugs and even some processed foods that contain ingredients I can’t pronounce. That reduced my search considerably. Using a foreign compound increases the chances of medical reactions and I really don’t like putting foreign substances into my body anyway.
Another rule I had was that it had to be safe and had no impact on my mood. I have tried some natural diet pills in the past only to find that i was jittery and had severe mood swings. I want to lose weight but I also want to be even physically and emotionally.
The last two rules was cost and effectiveness. I group these two with each other because I don’t mind paying a little more for a weight control pill that works better than another. You really need to be careful here. Effectiveness is really what what you want in the end. If the weight control pill you chose is not effective then not only are you wasting your dollars but you are also wasting your time and may never reach your goal.
I approached this like I was selecting my major in university. I knew I had to make the right choice or there may be big consequences later.
